Contract renewal would have to pay full price for phone. Depending on when your last contract started, you'd receive $250-$480 credit towards your purchase with a 3 year voice + data plan contract. Please note that Fido dollars can NOT be used towards purchase without data plan 3 year contract.

Just got back from Oakridge and visited the Rogers store and they said I qualify for the $159 update which surprised the sales rep because I've only had a Rogers account for 2 years. He said something about a preferred customer discount or something, my monthly bill is quite high because I use this phone for business and when I go overseas so I assume that's the reason. I guess now I have to wait until the stores get more stock.

I think its because you were with rogers for 24 months, so you are eligible for a smart phone HUP.

Anyone know which Fido store is doing the iphone4 HUP / renew 3 year contracts? Maybe only Apple stores but you have to pay $659+tax up front and you get back credit on the next bill??

Most Fido and Rogers stores entertaining Brand new activations only at the moment. HUP makes them less money. Feel free to call around. Biggest Fido dealer in GVA ~ Pepperwireless

All Apple Stores can do contract renewals.

I did mine at Apple store with 3 year contract renewal. Full price for phone - $250 credit for iphone4 promotion - Fidodollars.

But you paid full price of the phone first then you get back credits + fidodollars on your next invoice, correct? You can't pay just the difference. Sorry I just want to clear this up. Maybe I should just go to Oakridge tomorrow.
