Test Pipe CEL

Got a question. If i were to install a test pipe with an o2 bung, would there still be a CEL light even though i pluged in an o2 sensor into it?

yes. the secondary 02 will be reading the same as the primary 02. the ecu will see that as the converter being dead

You could look into a CEL eliminator Adaptor. Friend of mine said it works. Better yet DIY one yourself!

lordco no luck, but then again different locations got different stuff. Napa I have not tried, tomorrow I will be calling Napa and Mopac and will post my findings then

hey I just called Napa on Imperial, he told me he has a bunch in stock in all different types of sizes
