the sound has always been there... it's the door for the USB port. Don't worry about it haha. I noticed it on the first day I got it, and then tried it out with the Bell Vibrants they had on display at Future Shop. I believe it's normal

Wonder if I need a new battery or something for my Vibrant. Flashed couple different roms and tried juicedefender + setcpu but I can barely even last a day without recharging with minimal use.

im on nerov3 + juicedefender, if i dont use the phone it lasts close to 3 days on standby, but with moderate use it definately last me the working day. If my screen + 3g is on, the battery ticker drains like 1% every 5 mins haha. Gps/wifi/bt all off.

Just installed the latest Nero V5 with the new leaked KA5 modems. GPS is another step up in usability, fixes are super fast now (Consistently quick, been doing tests after clearing the cache, and still it's under 30 seconds).

anyone occasionally get the "failed to send" msgs for texts? I get them from time to time and it's freakin annoying.

This morning for some reason was especially bad as probably every 3rd message I try to send fails. Then when I try again a few times and it works, the person gets multiples.

One of my friends whos also on Bell seems to be having the same problem this morning

first you have to root it:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761045

then copy a custom rom onto the root of your phone memory and run it in recovery.

read through the bible here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=771111

it's all straight forward but there is chance that you can brick your phone... ie pull the battery halfway through an install. or install certain roms while voodoo is enabled.
