Max's is only good once, especially if you're a Filipino immigrant. Other than that it's Swiss Chalet with Filipino food. Hell, the Chickenjoy fried chicken at Jollibee at Southcenter is better. Posted via RS Mobile
Basically Korean Fried Chicken is really popular among Koreans. It's their fast food, they eat it as snacks over drinks (probably more often than us). It comes with more varieties than your Western counterpart. Off the top of my head, there's Korean Soy Fried Chicken, Spicy Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Fried Chicken with Green Onions (drenched in a sweet sauce), etc. It's no better than Southern Fried Chicken. It's like comparing apples and oranges and you'll need to see for yourself. Generally, Korean Fried Chicken is smaller in size, and thinner in batter. It's usually double-fried.
Zabu Chicken on Robson St. - Awesome Original Soy Fried Chicken. Arguably the best Soy Fried Chicken in Vancouver. I have not tried their Yangnyam Chicken though (Spicy Fried Chicken).
ApGuJung Robson - Their Yangnyam Chicken is not bad. Their regular Fried Chicken with seasoning isnt anything to rave about though.
Base on Robson - Awesome Yangnyam Chicken (They call it Chicken Karrage on the menu). It's my fave.
Chungdam Ahn - Their Fried Chicken is OK. I don't recommend it.
DaSaRang on North Road and Lougheed - Terrific Korean Fried Chicken with Green Onion. Sounds disgusting, but it good. Haven't tried the rest of the menu
Honey Bistro - Second favorite Soy Fried Chicken. Yangnyam Chicken is OK. Base is better.
Most of these places are more than happy to do takeout orders.

I think he's trying to say that Korean Fried Chicken (outside of South Korea) is overpriced.

^ I read on the sign that Canadian FIA (Food Inspection Agency) has banned US FDA approved gravy because it didn't meet requirements for canadian health kinda stuff.
Now they've been using store-bought gravy ever since and Churches are in the process of making FIA approved gravy.
