now its like beige, thick, and tasteless, yikes | yep, tastes like shit.
The 2 peice combos are like $8.50 now so it works out way cheaper to get an 8pc dinner combo, if you're with a few people.

Church's >>>>> KFC | Yeah true, but at today's fast food fried chicken price, 3 or 4 dollar after tax for the toonie tuesday is still a pretty good deal. I find that if you go in the early afternoon, the chicken you get is way better. Maybe I get lucky or something, but it seems that way. And now-a-days, I find their legs to be much larger and juicer. You should give it one more try. I go to the one on Kingsway and Nanaimo.

Toonie Tuesday is not a bad deal; unfortunately, their chicken varies greatly in size. Sometimes you get these really small little pieces, other times you get the bigger ones. Wish they could be more consistent. Someone should file a lawsuit against KFC like Subway. :P

Has anybody here ever tried Lee's Chicken?
I've seen one in Abbotsford and just saw another one today in Chilliwack.

Lee's isn't bad at all, there's one in Surrey too. Nowhere near as good as LA, but considering it's closer to me, it'll do.

I've tried Lee's Chicken before, it's pretty good, but I'm only comparing that to KFC and Churches. I think Churches and Lee's is pretty on par. With KFC being the least favorite. Juicy chicken from Lee's every time I've eaten it. I haven't tried LA chicken or any of the other upcoming popular chicken places though.

Lee's is pretty good. I ate at the one by metrotown before it closed down. Tried LA chicken, its good too. Ordered 8 piece meal and she hooked us up with 10 pieces. I still think Zabu is the best chicken.

Whatever happened to Popeye's? Used to eat there all the time when I lived in Coquitlam. Loved their biscuits.

fyi for churches chicken lovers, the chicken gravy is no more and as of a week ago the old gravy is back! I got some chicken today and was pleasantly surprised and confirmed with store that all stores have switched back to the old gravy. Posted via RS Mobile
*update* Just wanted to note that in case the people at the store were wrong in all Churches changing back to the old gravy that I got the old gravy at the Hastings off of Nanaimo location.

I personally enjoyed them, maybe cause i've always liked zucchinis. They shared the same outer batter as I would say the jalapeno poppers, and the zucchinis were never dried out or anything.
They tried come back with zucchini circles, cut in discs rather than length wise, those were not very good.
