Ear lobe piercing Hey i was wondering wheres a good safe place to get an ear lobe piercing? I already have a left one, i just want one on my right ear. i dont really care about the needle vs gun thing cuz it's only the ear lobe. maybe somewhere thats like 10 bucks? |
i think ear piercing are usually free some places..u gota buy the stud that cost you money at first...goto ardenes i think they have it..not sure about price.i think its like 15 bucks or something |
Ardenes is 12$ without tax for that metal one, plastic ones (which heals better) is 18$ without tax. |
yeah usually when you buy a stud, you get it pierced for free:P i'm planning on getting my left lobe, as well as the cartridge done, anyone know how much for cartridge? |
pauls piercing did my cartilage for like 50bucks including hoop. its in surrey tho:blush: |
yeah i went over to pauls a while ago and it's quite expensive. if i could remember, the stud was $35 and piercing was $50? i've been told there's a place downtown that does it for $15 O.O |
wow when i was gr7 it was so much more expensive! |
wtf? i got 3 piercings done for 25$ including the studs, 2 on my left ear lobe and 1 on my left cartiledge. |
I would recommend going to a body piercer and getting it done properly, rather than some goofball working in a mall with a dirty piercing gun. |
Anybody know about any problems piercing cartilage? I heard ardene’s stopped doing it because somebody went blind from getting it pierced. I heard this a super long time ago so I am not sure but can that really happen? |
^ Like SkinnyPupp said, go to a professional piercer found at most tattoo shops for such advice as opposed to some high school dropout working at Ardene. |
http://i-kandytattoo.com/ Its in langley (fraser highway) My girlfriend has gotten quite a few piercings and a tattoo there. I got my lorlum piercing there. Posted via RS Mobile |
If it's just the lobes, it's safe at places like Claires or Ardene's, they actually make you sign papers now. If it's anything else beyond the lobes I'd go to professional piercers. |
anyone had any experience with adrenaline downtown? i'd like to know how much it is there to get my left cartiledge pierced:) |
^ No personal experience however, they are a reputable shop with many years of experience. Another excellent and reputable professional piercer can be found at Funhouse Tattoos located on I believe 14th and Cambie (right at the corner.) Give them a call in advance to make sure the piercer is in. The staff and professionalism at Funhouse Tattoos is excellent (if that matters to you.) :) |
^thanks! i'll definately check them out:) |
For future reference, I got my ear pierced at Merle Norman earlier, and it went over well. In and out in five minutes, painless, and the piercer went over everything carefully and answered all my questions. $43 bucks for two studs + solution. Prices will be vary depending on which stud you pick (piercing is free, and solution extra). |
I got my tragus and industrial done at steel temple now known as "Seraphim Tat" in burnaby 100$ for both included everything. the bar bell and stud and solution. |
:suspicious: |
wat everybody else said. just go to a body piercing. if you can't spare $40 bucks for a proper piercing your not old enough for one. got my done at adrenaline by kyle. He re did my left gunned lobe at 8g. very professional but the price is a little high. |
Anyone recommend a suitable place to have kids' ears pierced? Can't imagine bringing a kid to a tattoo shop to get it done by a body piercer |
^ Claire's, ardene's or some jewellery store in the malls like people's or Ben moss etc Posted via RS Mobile |
got mine done at the salon at the corner infront of the sportschek at metro $22 inc tax for the cheapest stud + the cleaning solution they used a gun, went in and went out, didn't even talk to the person lol but, it didn't get infected and it's healed now |

I have 18 piercings in my ears....I always find that when it is done with a needle, it heals better. Getting it done with a ring instead of a stud also helps. |
