Theres a nice restaurant close to the beach side.. it has a nice view of the water/sand area.. decent food at a good price. Forgot the name.. Anyone know the place may want to point out the name? (Also they have a nice selection of wine)

I believe the restaurant you are referring to is called Arms Reach. It appears as if their menu seems to serve up the standard West Coast/Italian fare to suit the palate of Vancouverites. I haven't eaten there myself but several of my friends have. I've been told that the food is decent for the price and nothing prissy.

OP: I haven't been to Deep Cove in ages however, a lot of the suggestions contained within this thread are excellent. Please do arrive early as parking is scarce. Worst case scenario, bring a $5 or $10 bill and ask one of the local residents if you can park at their house. Most of them will be okay with it and not take your money. If you are planning to go with a few friends, a great idea is to bring a portable BBQ to roast some chicken wings and hot dogs as BBQ facilities are there for your perusal.

If you want to do some hiking, I've done the Baden Powell trail. It's not a bad trail to go on. Just remember to bring a bottle of water.
