"yay rice" or "eww rice"?
 

I recently got into an accident, and had to have most of the front end replaced (not enough to justify a JDM conversion). The body shop gave me the ICBC repair budget and I saw that there was room in there to replace the OEM hood with a CF hood. I didn't think too much of it and went for it; free upgrade, why not right?

So it looks like this now, and damn it screams rice

Would this be a candidate for hall of shame? :( I think right now I would need wide/offset wheels to compliment the hood, which might help a little bit...

FG2 and FA5 hoods aren't interchangeable lol

the fact that the hood is blk and the mid bumper is black makes it rice

white hood would be better

Since it looks like the top of your spoiler is also black(?), I would complete the look by vinyling the top of your roof black/cf as well. I think it would look even better like that. But it doesn't look that bad right now

get wider wheels and/or paint the bumper back to white.

i'm not sure what you're talking about, car looks fine to me. vinyl roof would be ok too.

i thought it was a cf hood from the first picture but then reading the posts and looking at the second pics, its just black.

but really your car looks just fine. its different than most other civics.
and definitely vinyl your roof. im doing that sometimes soon!

Damn that's pretty nice...:thumbsup: Although that's realistically looks like 18". I had been saving up for a cash fund for 18x8.5or9 wheels but half had been lost to deductibles

IMO I think it looks great, nowhere in comparison to most of the cars in the HoS thread. In the end it's your car and if you're happy with the outcome then that should be the most significant thing.

Thanks for the feedbacks :) I do like the look but I just felt a little iffy about it since I don't have as much performance upgrades to match the hood. But feels good to know I dont have to feel like hiding my face while driving thru the cities

I think it looks pretty good....now just vinyl your roof black too lol
