I got NFS2: SE lying around somehwere - It was the times before youtube, so if I wanted car videos I would just booted up the game and watch those intro vids.
Anyone remember the Vancouver Track? It had snippets of Lions Gate, Stanley Park, and the area near Spanish Banks with totem poles scattered everywhere
Forget NFS... I found my old copies of Test Drive and The Duel: Test Drive 2 on those giant 5" floppy disks a few months back. I wasted sooooo much time playing those games when I was a kid!
Edit: The one thing I do have to give credit to NFS is that this was a time when they still actually used real footage for intros, not this CG crap!
omg I was just playing TD3 the other day. Gotta use DosBox though - thing runs way too fast on a P3-1000. Crazy how back in tha day they tied games to CPU cycles and not the system clock. How times have changed..
NFS1 > NFS2
NFS5 Porsche Unleashed > NFS3 Hot Pursuit > NFS4 High Stakes

Hahaha...I had that too!! I remember that on my old Commodore 64 or was it a 486 dx/33 with the 2 color screen. F40 was the weapon of choice for me. I even had the extra car pack. Good old memories!
I killed the directional keys on the keyboard of my first computer thanks to NFS1.
I didn't really care for #2-4, porsche unleashed was my overall favourite. I never really played any of the NFS's after that, I stopped playing a lot of video games.
This game was epic. I always played with my brother. 2 player race with shared keyboard haha. I get the arrows and he gets the W,A,S,D keys haha. F2 to lower the graphics cuz my computer was a POS. Those were the days.
Good time spent with all the NFS series. I had fun until Underground. That got boring quickly. I want to drive an exotic car, not a riced out car with horrible gameplay physics.
I just hope the driving simulation in the new NFS aren't anything like the ones that came out the last 4 or 5 years.
Haha porsche unleashed was the shit but i never worked my way up to finally owning a 911, just went through like 50 356's cause they made you fix em after u crashed em
Oh I remember playing Porsche Unleashed with my Logi wheel.
Yesterday I decided to play Shift, because I never finished it, and I realized, wtf happened?
The menus are bad, they put too much emphasis on graphics, and slows the menus down so much!
Anyways, High Stakes was pretty good, Hot Pursuit was good too.
