My 9780 just arrived... OS6 seems slick although I'm still trying to figure out how to efficiently use it where as I had OS5 setup pretty well for what I wanted it to do. Camera seems pretty sweet though.

how much without contract and if it breaks can i bring it back to your store for warranty? i'm with fido last time I bought a 9700 from someone on craigslist which he ordered direct from rogers = rogers won't do warranty work unless I have a rogers line....

you must have a rogers line for the warranty to apply
or else you hang on to the invoice and contact RIM directly

its 499 without contract b4 tax

Rimm won't honor warranty if Rogers phone only if I buy unlocked phone direct from them.

1GB is huge for blackberry, most people can't even use up 500mb on their bb.

In 5 days I've used a little over 80mb so far - at this rate I'd be near my 500mb limit in a month but we'll see.

This is using 3G exclusively, at least 20 emails daily and some sporadic browsing and texting. I streamed a few small YouTube vids in there too. I don't consider myself a heavy user so at least for me it seems possible to go over 500mb.

Yes. That's why BlackBerries need BB specific data plans as they access RIM servers for data compression.

I have 500mb plan, I go on RS 24/7, I received over 65emails a day, and reply to atleast 20. Browse internet when I'm bored.

Monthly usage = 240mb.
