that sounds awesome.

Anyone have a problem loading a leaked os on their 9780? Bbsak doesn't recognize the os on my computer and blackberry desktop manager doesn't either. So frustrating. I have no problem doing this on my 9700.

I was able to instal the above leak. I can't find any differences.

I went back to .448, 461 is way too buggy, my sms icon went gg.

josayeee 02-23-2011 10:48 PM

My sms icon went away on my first try of installing .461. Then I did a wipe using bbsak and did a fresh reload. No problems.

Does anyone know if the 9700 keypad will fit the 9780?

Bonka 02-27-2011 03:49 PM

It'll fit it shares the same casing.

I haven't updated yet, still in school.

I skipped .461 because the sms icon fucked up and I'm not willing to delete all my texts for it.

I'm just about ready to throw this piece of shit.

Yeah the missing cursor in bbm is really annoying but you can always press the shift key to see where it is.
Its a temporary fix but its better than nothing

people on crackberry are saying that they arent having any problems yet with .480.. so fuck it, gonna install it and see what happens.

There is a fix for the bbmm cursor , ill post it when I am home, just gotta add some bbm6 codes before you load the OS and it will be fixed. Just got mine fixed like last week or so.

Yep, mine's officially fucked. Going to call Rogers tomorrow or something. I'm going to sleep.

No need for codes, just updated to .480 and the cursor is back!
I suggest anyone with a 9780 update to .480 asap

You should. Factory loaded OS is slower than a leaked one IMO

6insomnia9 03-01-2011 04:32 PM

By far 480 is probably the best leak..

Did you drop the phone in water or what? We need details not just a picture

But from the looks of it it looks like the problem is with the LCD.

Try a battery pull first if you haven't done so already.

never touched water. was in my pocket for 2 hours. never hit anything. took it out, was all effed up.
battery pull at least 200 times. whatever, I'm going to try 480
