not sure if this was asked already, but can someone tell me what was written on the windshield of the minivan before abraham used the wipers?

Can someone explain to me the significance of the flashbacks with Rick and Herschel?
All I go was that Herschel wanted him to grow crops back at the prison instead of going out to look for food.

Flashbacks were him stepping away from violence.
We now see Rick has decided it was never really an option.
Should have known Rick hiding his gone "just in case" meant something bad was going to happen :P

I dislike these Terminus folks more that i did with Woodbury! Wished the governor was still alive to fk Terminus up. 
Prediction : Beth is going to reappear as a badass and save everyone

I actually really loved this episode, I think there was one point where michonne talked too much, but other than that, it was great.
