Since the Governor was announced to be in the next season a lot of things seem to be headed towards what happens in the comic

Shane is starting to lose it with the group. Dale mentions to Rick how Carl is becoming desensitized to killing and it was shown in the episode when he appears to try and watch his dad kill the prisoner. I think Shane is going to snap and nearly kill Rick only to be shot by Carl
I can also see the group of 30 being talked about as being the Governor's people. And Rick stepping down as leader to form a committee
But then again it has deviated fairly far from the comic, so I'm probably totally wrong.
