i was so surprised they did that! i wonder if ppls reactions are the only reason why they didn't kill him off... making him survive seems a bit silly
Rick came close to leaving Shane for dead... He was thinking straight until he saw the two zombie cop bodies laying next to each other. I'm assuming that the two bodies brought back memories of their close relationship... ride together, die together mentality
i think the 2 guards is just foreshadowing that there is a prison near by. but i maybe wrong.
i read the Rise of the Governor novel and while i havent read any of the comics, i still found it really interesting. there are lots of similarities to the show in that its a story about a group of people who have no clue whats going on but figure out pretty quick that you gotta do WHATEVER you gotta do to survive. judging from what I hear about governor, he is one BAMF. Can't wait for him to be introduced next year
As noble as Dale's outlook on humanity is, I totally disagree with him. I've really against rape. Not because I've been raped before or know anyone who has but I just think it's wrong, worse than death. And if I found out the kid was with a group of people who raped 2 teenage girls? Fuck that, Imma shoot that mother fucker. Ain't NO ONE touching the women that I love or women I care about. That's the lowest form of scumbagery and I won't tolerate it.
As for this episode, despite lack of action it was pretty good. Why? Because we felt danger to the group unlike the first 8 episodes where they were safe on the farm. They gotta worry now about 30 guys taking everything away from them and of course the governor which I'm pretty damn sure is connected to that group by the way the kid described it + what I read in the comics + them announcing that the governor is in the next season and there is only a few episodes left in this season. They were talking bout stuff that progresses the show and stuff that matters. Not stories about how Maggie and his sister used to fight or go swimming together or whatever.
Now that we finally turned Andrea into a badass, Rick into a seimi-badass (but he'll get there), Hershall on his way there, and Carl looking like he's gonna be there soon, things are looking goooooood.

I thought it was quite obvious who the main characters are.

Had a feeling Shane was gonna die this episode, judging by the way Rick was walking with him thru the woods, he seemed really sketched out.
But wow, after 2 gun shots. The zombies all hear it and are now heading towards the farm. Like 5 episodes ago when they shot all the zombies in the barn, what was that... like 20shots? And no zombies showed up then.
