I really hope his group doesn't just fade into the background with the rest of the "troops"... It kind of feels like the writers brought them in at the wrong time and now are just looking ways to postpone whatever it is they are meant to do.

Man why did they have to have tyrese end up at Woodbury. If they pull this whole "brain washed by the governor" arc like they did with Andrea that lasted like 9 episodes I'm gonna blow my own head off, axel style. I'm sick of the governor misleading ppl. I'm going to guess that Tyrese find himself caught between doing the right thing (not attacking the camp) and staying with his crew who obviously want to take Rick and gang out. Tyrese will probably play a vital roll in the survival of the prison group when woodbury attacks me thinks.
