my dad says its like Battlestar Galactica when the story takes a pause for several episodes to show days in the life of Dr. Gaius Baltar
I absolutely agree with your old man. Although I admit, I actually enjoyed the governor's TWD episode as opposed to how much I disliked Gaius Baltar's story episodes...
If you actually read what I said, "bored"
as in the story progressed very slowly, lots of pauses and drawn out dialogue.
The difference is, I like the show. I didn't like the episode. If I don't watch the episodes, then obviously I won't have a comment.
Understand?
Perhaps you didn't understand what I wrote, and maybe you should go back and read the last few pages of this thread. Going back even to the start of season 3. There are more posts about how boring/stupid/lame the show is becoming, then anything else.
It's becoming a bit much that after every episode, there is always a handful of people that whine about it. EVERY TIME.
I'm beginning to think that at this point, Maggie and Glenn could have a 3way with Andrea's ghost, and people would still bitch that the show sucked and was boring.
If people are that bored with the show, then why watch it?

Get over it, if they are going to take a show that I thought was really good in the first 1.5 seasons and slowly kill it like this I have every right to come onto this site and rant and rave about it. Maybe you should get out of this thread if you don't like people giving their honest opinion about the show.
Most people who watch this show have not read the comics, so they are perfectly happy watching this BS that is currently being put out. The truth is if you go read the comics, this show could be a blockbuster, it could be on the same level of breaking bad. Instead its going the way of lost and dexter (I didn't watch but from what I have heard the situation is similar).
On another note I am with most others, the last governor episode was extremely refreshing. Hopefully it leads to something, I think the people in the prison need something besides the zombies to keep me interested.

Simmer down there sport.
I think I few of you here are missing my point. And given the reading comprehension of revscene lately, I'm not surprized.
I have no issue with people giving their opinions on the show/episodes, (I agree with you about the last episode btw), but how many times do people have to post: "This show sucks now" or "This episode sucked"? At least elaborate a little.
For those that are into the comics, there is a separate thread for them isn't there? I avoid it because I don't want any spoilers, although it sounds like nothing would be spoiled as the two really aren't that much alike.
If there's a separate thread for the comics, I don't know about it. But don't worry about spoilers. The show has gone into completely different territory this season and isn't following the story line of the comics at all anymore it seems.

I really hope you weren't questioning my reading comprehension.
I get it though, I can see the frustration when the entire post is just:
"This show sucks"
That is certainly not the type of post I am condoning, but if the person comes in and defends their point and produces a somewhat intelligent response beyond that then I see no problem.
Also I don't think there is a seperate thread for the comic, as I do not know how many people on RS actually read them, but I really do urge everyone too. The comics are truly brilliant, if you liked why this show was so good in the first season, the comics will really be a good read.
