aberdeen has some very optimistic employees. Go there instead of Lansdowne. |
noob question. Am i able to use my mobilicity sim card in my unlocked iphone and SE? I just tried it, and it works fine. My only concern is. On the screen, its says Canadian roaming. Is this going to charge me extra even tho i am in the coverage area? Thanks. |

i need help before I give up my Mobilicity unlimited data. I have N900 with joikuspot (wifi tethering program) that gets cut off and not sure if it's Mobilicity or my phone cutting the data off. I had it working once or twice. Browsing on N900 is not a problem, but i have to get tethering working. :( I know there's Nexus for AW1700 with Android 2.2 with build in wifi tethering. I dont mind getting it for the price, but i need to make sure wifi tethering is indeed working without cutting off. Anyone has Nexus on Mobilicity and uses wifi tethering all the time? Thanks for any help. |
maybe somethings up with your n900, but then again, tethering, and doing what with it? Nexus One, or even the X10i is fine, root the Android phone, download Barnacle app. and wifi tether all you want! |
Thanks. I use data part once a week and with wifi tethering, I can share the Internet with my wife in my inlaw's house when we visit them. I tested out BELL phone in BB with 2.2 built in wifi tethering and works beautifully with my iPod right on the spot. But everyone charges data/voice over $50 easily except Mobilicity. Free roaming for Vancouver Mobilicity customers is over I don't use them but came across this on HoFo. Quote:

Saw that too, but i am on mobi, and still calling roaming free as charge :) |
Hows the frequency/reception for Mobilicity thus far?? |
I left, once cdn roaming is gone, i dont get much reception over in my house. Posted via RS Mobile |
^ Try WIND. |
hey guys my bb curve can't make/recieve any calls, txt and data works though, tried restarting but nothing, any ideas? |
Question: since they got the blackberry 9780 now, will they eventually get the blackberry 9800? I would seriously consider porting over and not get a iphone4 lol Posted via RS Mobile |
Don't think so since the 9800 isn't AWS. Maybe one day BlackBerry will make an AWS version then you will see Mobilicity and Wind selling them. Posted via RS Mobile |

All of a sudden I now have full bars down in the basement. Just this morning I would had to hug a window to get signal. Now I can walk freely. Anyone else notice any difference? Posted via RS Mobile |
