i if i want the 35$ plan with the 5$ blackberry feature how does that work out for the 1 year prepaid? (279.99 + 60)+tax?

RevRav 12-03-2010 06:41 PM

Sign up before December 31st, and they will add in a free $5.00 credit in your "Wallet" so you can use it when you're roaming or calling long-d.

Yup, you got it right. They don't provide any discounts for the add-on's.

kwanzor 12-04-2010 11:10 AM

if u want the $35 dollar plan + bb its $35+15 for data bb..

why not just go for the $40 unlimited insider promo? comes with bb data as well.. and saves you money

not a big fan of the snap but if it fits the budget its prob the only choice .. i rather buy a used tmobile bold or curve or something and replace the case and your good to go!

Signed up with an unlimited $40 plan. Network coverage definitely needs improvement. I could be texting in a Mobilicity zone unlimited one minute and then next minute I walk into a zone where the phone goes into CDN roaming. If I receive a text while walking thru these roaming areas do I get charged? If I'm in the middle of a call that I placed while in the Mobilicity area and later during the call enter an area where the phone goes to roaming do I get charged the duration while in a roaming zone? I dont wanna be in the middle of a call and be all like "hey i gotta go, I just walked into a roaming area...call you back when i'm back on the Mobilicity network."

distanc3 12-04-2010 05:10 PM

^ i read that the reception is very patchy, i'll stick with Wind's bad building penetration for now =(

You won't even be able to receive a text message if you are in CDN Roaming unless you have money in MyWallet.

From what I've read, CDN Roaming is free of charge for a month or two while Mobilicity is working on the network, which is why you are able to call out and receive calls while CDN Roaming without having any money in MyWallet. After that period, you must put money in MyWallet to do anything when roaming.

Osaka 12-04-2010 06:00 PM

^^In that case I'm wondering if calls will be dropped when entering a CDN Roaming area if there is no $$ in MyWallet?

willystyle 12-04-2010 06:01 PM

Hey guys, where can I find the details about the $40 F&F Plan? I don't see it on the Mobilicity website.

Kamui712 12-04-2010 06:18 PM

^ try the 1st and 2nd page of thread.

J____ 12-04-2010 08:30 PM

i have to say, data is pretty bad right now. Even if i have full bars + 3g signal, I'd be lucky if i get a data connection 1 hour out of the entire day... ridiculous. Once they fix the network though it'll be dirt cheap and sweet.

Kamui712 12-04-2010 08:32 PM

mines been 100% solid

way2quik 12-05-2010 05:19 PM

Mine's been on and off. I'll have a connection established, but it will stall, no data is being transferred.

kwanzor 12-05-2010 05:26 PM

if u are in a cnd roaming and u can make a call you are fine..bc all the towers are turned on right now for network testing and upgrading and tweaking.

data should be fully operational in a month. u shouldnt have too many data issues come the new year !

rabbitboy 12-06-2010 12:44 AM
