Not much of an update but it appears his new game is to say he's going to call and then keep delaying until it's really late and then he asks if I'm sure he can't call but by then I have already gone to bed.
Instead of getting me these papers he claims he has he says he was working out at LA Fitness but it was close to 1am and they close at midnight (I'm a member). He said that one closes at 1:30 and he would call me on his drive back to wherever he was staying.

I think your trolling because if some nammer had 40k of my dollars that I didn't even meet, or through a business without doing research on it, I would fly here (since you probably have money since you gave him 40k straight up) and get your money back PHYSICALLY.
