That was my initial feeling but then you end up in jail and the scammer keeps your money. For this amount of money I want to do it the right way first.
There was a guy on RS awhile back that knew people who knew people. You should try to look him up he was quite good at intimidation tactics and really had a lot of people on RS shaking in their boots over a pretty sever lawsuit. He could really help you out in this situation I'm sure of it...
