Yea u could. But some tenants are fked up and the head. If u do that they mite come back a later data and FK up Ur house. There was also a case where a family friend was forced to kick out a tenant because of non-payment;excessive noise;drug abuse etc, and the cops came. That person left... After flushing a bag of quick dry cement down the toilet... Fking clogged up everything.

That's usually y the owner would only use cops/court small claims to resolve this kind of issue, they have nothing to lose, u have Ur house....

I've heard they're trying to or have successfully had people front them money by convincing them they have all this money that the bank is holding and they will pay it back once their accounts are unfrozen.

Back in August they were trying to scam a club owner in Vegas out of a couple hundred thousand dollars for a Ferrari. She was telling people if the deal went through she was going to rent an island for a vacation.

I warned somebody affiliated with the club and without telling him who the potential scammers were he already had a hunch and that it involved cars and said his boss wasn't going to fall for it. I asked him if Sunytha was really in Vegas working and he said no she was just partying.

Unfortunately in BC, it doesn't work that way, it is a long drawn out process for "dispute resolution" and it has to require baliffs to evict people.

i was gonna make a similar comment but i saw mike saying scamthony lurks on this thread so i dont wanna give the guy any useful info he can use against honest citizens

Just spoke with landlord. Scamthony showed up at his house with a $2000 check begging to let him stay. He was crying too. I told him he should have taken a pic. He said he almost had his sister video tape it, lol. That would have been priceless. The landlord wouldn't take the check. Told him to come back with cash.

Also, the landlord went to arbitration a couple months ago and the scammers failed to show up or call so they automatically lost.

They don't have any friends they can crash with for a few days? Typical.
