So hes begging you to take it down.....so what were the reasons given for the long run around? Was he actually intending to scam you? |

Time to put the detective skills back to work. |
from the start it sounds like he was just scared this guy is gonna screw him but the guys on vacation and during his vacation he's gonna pick him up a car and he's always been in contact with him while on vacation that's why the only step should have been for him to take him to court/get a lien instead of bitching n crying on here and if it did turn out to be a hustle he'd have his legal case on him already begun and if it turned out to just be his nerves he can cancel any steps he's taken |

I feel for you buddy. $40k is a lot of money especially when you have a family to support. But you need to man up a bit yourself. Give the guy some firm deadlines. When you ask him for pictures or copies of the invoice, tell him that you want it by a specific date. The car delivery, again, give him a firm date. You almost come off as a bit too lenient and he seems to be taking full advantage of it. I'd also suggest you keep all txt msgs between you and him and voice record any conversations with him. You main communication should be over the phone rather than txt. Text msgs are for children. GL with the situation. |
Nice. Since we know he's looking at this thread, I want to anal your girl. That is all. P.s give the op his money or his car Posted via RS Mobile |

Supposedly there is this attorney that owns this mystical ISF that was impossible to schedule a meeting with, even though supposedly this deal was sealed before he flew down. He supposedly paid this imaginary guy last weekend and was waiting for funds to clear. He said he would call his own bank to see. I said it was a cashier's check, the funds were gone as soon as they handed you the check (if there was ever a check at all). So he said he would call the guy and see if the funds cleared there yet. I said they cleared immediately, the bank probably put a 5 day hold on the funds. So by tomorrow he will have no more excuses. He and his fiance disregarded any deadlines I gave them. They refuse to answer me when I ask for a refund. He never answers his phone that's why I have to text. He says he will call and never does. I ignore my wife and kids saying I'm expecting an important phone call and he totally blows me off. He is supposed to email me real proof tonight and call me but I'm not going to hold my breath. I private messaged his fiance's brother Nakhon Romeo aka Laos Romeo on Facebook as well asking if he could see what is going on since it says he works at the shop and gets cars for people too. He never responded but told Anthony about it and they had a laugh about it together. Well if he is legit like he says he is then I can leave this thread open and in the end I can say he came through. He has a week to deliver or shyts gonna get real. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt but sending me fake pictures of the car, twice? C'mon. I keep telling him I don't want pics of the car I want name and number of this imaginary lawyer and a VIN since the VIN on the contract isn't even the VIN of the car he supposedly paid for (with my money). I've told him what a financial bind he has put me in and he says he understands but I don't think he really cares. |

I can't discuss what actions I've already taken but I'm not "bitching and crying" on here. Just thought I'd share what happened and see if any other people have dealt with him. |

Yeah he must think I'm playing around. He seemed pretty serious about getting things straightened out tonight but he hasn't responded to my last text yet. |

I'd say get a lawyer ready regardless, or start looking for one. So much time and still not an inkling of proof? |

Guess what, they didn't. |
To Anthony: Id tap your wife. |
I'd get my money back since who knows what shape the IS-F will be in, whether it will have any previous accidents/damage, what kind of maintenance has been done etc....this guy doesn't seem legit to me so hire a lawyer and get your money back, since I would not trust him in getting me a solid car anymore. |
Yeah really, above poster is rght, I wouldnt even take a car from him at this point, plus even if he tries to give you a car you can refuse to accept it since the VIN on the contract doesnt match. But really, I'm guessing he isnt planning to give you a car, something tells me this guy is a broke piece of fake rich shit. I think you should just 4chan him already :) |
This Anthony guy is some piece of shit. Hate to be a pessimist in this situation but this really doesn't look good at all. Hire a lawyer is probably what you can do at this point. But then again, are you really going to get your money back? You decide for yourself on that one. If I were you, I would totally hire a beat down crew and beat his mother fucking ass out. 40k worth of beating should send him to the hospital living the rest of his mother fucking scum bag life as a parapeligic. Best of luck to OP |
feel bad for the kid, fuck his life. |
