You're right you can't squeeze a rock. If he has no money and no assets there really isn't much you can do. If he starts working you can get his wages garnished but other then that not a lot.
Hope this asshole goes to jail.
Edit: I read Mikes response, I hope he has some joker to play and a way to recoup.
