Romantic getaway for 2? suggestions? ( local )

I'm planning a romantic getaway for my girlfriend and myself. I'd like to book it for september 12th - 14th. I've been googling some ideas but I'm really not having any luck.

I'm looking to spend around $500 for the 2 days. Prefer something with a jacuzzi in the room and meals included.

If you guys have any suggestions please let me know !

Take the Whistler Mountaineer up to Whistler.

Some of the B&B's on Mayne Island or Saltspring Island are very nice, as are the ones on Whidbey Island in Washington State.
We stayed at Oceanwood on Mayne Island. Very relaxing!

On Whidbey Island, we stayed at the Anchorage Inn. The owners were simply the best, and breakfast was amazing! We stayed in the Discovery Room, and it was very comfy.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sunshine Coast, stayed at 2 different resorts and that already costed about your budget, $500 (but very worth it) although food was not included. Very good place to relax, have quality time with your SO and just get away from everything. Rockwater resort includes a jacuzzi in your own bathroom, which was very cool.

I suggest sunshine coast as well, I know a few of my friends and their SO's whose gone. It's definitely a place for people looking to relax, or do outdoorsy stuff.

Whistler is your generic place to go, resort town, a lot to do (but with a cost). You can always try out nearby places like Pemberton.

Harrison is another place, you might find the crowed to be a bit older or a family feel, but they occasionally have some great couples package.

Oh ya! And Vancouver Island. I'd go for smaller towns, if you're not big on the touristy thing.

Bottom line is, you can go anywhere, and it should still feel romantic with a little bit of effort

I second whistler. It's a great time of year to go up there. Hotel rates are low and often dinning is discounted a bit because they're trying to draw locals in.

So? Where did you go? Hope you had a great time.

I was just at Blackrock in Ucluelet two weeks ago. It was awesome...except for the part where the missus spent $500 at the spa...
