I think the middle left shot of the rear actually looks pretty good. Quote:

To make that widebody and rear I would have to overlap the side glass and remove the rear glass on the hatch then replace it with a lighter plastic glass. This project wont happen till spring or until I finish my planned replica. ilmatic, here is one for you at $3550 http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bn...956137744.html http://images.craigslist.org/3ne3k63...04abea1c66.jpg |

This is some beautiful work you've done here Arash. I am very interested in buying a full kit off of you. Can you paint it for me too? I have a white 300zx but I would like to have this body kit painted in black. I think it will look really good. Please let me know how soon I can get this from you. I am willing to pay twenty-thousand dollars to if you can get me this kit in the next 2 months. Now you can call me a troll. |
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community Quote:
Definition of INFLAMMATORY 1 : tending to excite anger, disorder, or tumult : seditious 2 : tending to inflame or excite the senses in·flame (n-flm) v. in·flamed, in·flam·ing, in·flames v.tr. 1. To arouse to passionate feeling or action: Your a flamer! |
All this business planning, and NO execution of it at all. Shouldn't you be focused on developing your business plan as much as your bodykit? If you were serious about this, you'd be calling up various companies for a partnership, showing off your developing prototype to set up mass production and possibly seeking design advice from the professionals, not playing armchair CEO and just saying "I'll do this, this, and this." How can you even think of jumping straight to Japan if the sample audience in your backyard already dislikes the design? |

Im happy with the outcome of the car so far and will be very proud of it if it turns out like the photoshop, the front end only. But I have also lost confidence in that it will not make me rich or anything. I know people will buy it but Ive come to realize that its not always about beauty, image and status are really key to make an easy sale. So although I will have my car kit for sale too, I want to get into replicas next which I know I can pull off and make it exact. I want to target the rich and sell a few cars with a high profit margin then sell many car kits that are cheap. Quote:
Japan is the home of the Zed and Im sure sexy car curves are universal. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_aqdJkNjP_iM/TL...YJKXP4/vvv.jpg |

Image edited, about the same thickness in the front end I mean, like the Ferrari 430... use the NSX to make a comparison. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_aqdJkNjP_iM/TL.../amsc89enk.jpg |
Quote:
did u ACTUALLY say that if lowered...your bodykit will make a 20 year old japanese car look as slick as a $300k super car? |

Keep this thread clean. Personal attacks of a malicious nature are not tolerated. You can get your opinion across but use some tact - we are all members of the same forum. |
I'm out of fucks to give... Arash, i'm thanking you from here on out. |

There is a new design rear bumper for the Z32. I don't think you can improve too much on this design: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...r/PICT0117.jpg |
That bumper makes the rear look good and at the same time keeps the traditional design of the Zed, any design I implement wont look like a Zee anymore except for its taillights. Quote:
The lines might not look like they match but the new design is in proportion of the Zed body. The side glass is only an inch off under the hatch which can be hacked. Fiberglass panels can be attached to the hatch and the heavy glass removed and replaced with a light plastic one. (some Ferrari's even use plastic back windows) Lastly quarter panel fiberglass (most likely Ill produce plastic pieces by then) will attach over the aluminum body and remember this is a widebody so naturally it will look thicker and wider. Ive seen this dont on kit cars, its very possible if you know the know how. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_aqdJkNjP_iM/TI...05-compare.jpg http://picasaweb.google.com/Vigorous...56004858596738 http://lh3.ggpht.com/_aqdJkNjP_iM/TI...oQ/ccccd-1.jpg http://picasaweb.google.com/Vigorous...41472107965730 |
You keep mentioning about how you will sell limited numbers of your kit cars to high-end, rich customers... Do you not realize that "high-end, rich" customers will not want to pay $$$ for a backyard, home made craft car? What price range do you expect your car to be around? The reason why they buy supercars is that they look incredible INSIDE AND OUT. Let's say somehow you manage to get the exterior made but you still have to do numerous modifications on the interior to cater to the rich customers. they do NOT want to be in a car with interior details that scream 1990's. Also, I'm not sure if u mentioned but are you doing ANYTHING to the motor and chassis at all? Just lowering will not be much of an improvement. YES, Z32's are pretty decent handling cars already but the suspension and chassis design is still 20 years old. BTW, the headlight design on your VIGOROUS ZX looks like this: http://image.automobilemag.com/f/990...front_view.jpg |
