there is a point, because you want to sell it to THEM (general consumers), and not sell it to YOURSELF. therefore, you should listen to THEM, and not YOU.

I dont think this place is worthy of my cars progress anymore. I wanted to post the final result on a local forum to have customers lined up but whats the point when people here dont want it.
I will not be updating my album from now on and will go to the streets to sell my car when its finished. If I find a lack of sales, then I may post it here again... unless...

Revscene = your test market. It's a commmon practice to introduce something into a test market to see what effect it will have when you introduce to the masses.

i think you're misunderstanding my point.

rev scene members ARE in fact, the general consumer you should be targeting. Rev Scene members are people who love cars. therefore, rev scene members are the people who would invest additional $$ on their vehicles.

however, people who love cars (again = revscene members), will not buy the kit, because its changing a good car into something its not.

people who DONT love cars (NON-revscene members), OFTEN dont buy mods for their cars, especially not ones priced at 3000 (if i remember correctly, thats how much you want to sell the kit for?).

so in the end, the only people who would consider buying your kit are the VERY RARE people who either do it for teh lulz, or have extremely bad taste. often times its for teh lulz, and they have their own sources for these kits.

If I was to recommend a Muira replica (because the real ones are near impossible to attain and afford) to a mature auto enthusiast crowd, do you think I would get as many fails as I did here? I think the opposite, thanks, would be given.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and Rev Scene doesnt want to see my car, thus no one filled the list. The ban list filled up pretty quickly, but not one to see my crappy design.
