That ZX forum runs off a dsl phone line and loads 1 page ever 5 minutes.
The owners run the servers out of their house, I'd say it's pretty quick for a large forum run out of a house. PS, you shouldn't complain about a free service, and 9,380 views on your thread alone.
Its a ZX owners forum and not open to the public like other ones.
edit; out of their house? I thought they had a bad host server or something... with the amount of traffic and ads they could have, they should have it professionally hosted.
Once the kit is complete and I make some money, I will go national, I already have connections with a fiberglass builder in Japan (home of the ZX) who can clone kits for me and this in turn cuts shipping cost.
Now I need to think about commercials, I will need a volunteer with an SLR video camera (possible self career promotion) to shoot the car once its done. I envision the car ad to have the kit car ride slowly on Granville street at night with this song playing along.
Thats a nice one too, maybe there could be an interlude in the middle (hot girl driver turns over to hot girl passenger) and after-wards "Another night.." breaks the pause.
