I tried to make it appealing but there is no saving this car
You can pull your sleeper tactics all day but I doubt you'd be pulling in any girls in a speeding sedan. Also my ZX can be converted to the turbo version which can reach 100km in 5 seconds, never mind all the cheap mods that get me to 400hp for under $1000.
Plus it would take many Asian dollars for an Aston 77, something around 2 million dollars.
edit;
Ive seen E36 to E46 transformations where the fronts are hacked but this Van is pretty dam unique
OK I'm surprised no one else has bit on this.
Your Z is NA and I'm tryin to figure how you can take your 225hp car and bring it to 400hp with less then $1000?

[edit ;Turbo conversions start from 3k+ and are preferred for left hand steering Zeds with 4 seats (like my car) as they always came as a non-turbo off the factory, but in Japan most of their 4 seater Zeds are turbo off the factory.
My kit future widebody kit will work with the 4 seater (also called 2+2) because its a bit longer and even better proportioned in my opinion. The weigh distribution is also more balanced for handling and also who wouldnt love 2 small seats in the back.
If you want a 700hp Zed the cheapest way, its best to buy a turbo one and just upgrade it. ]
Thanks did you comment on the cars looks yet?
My first design build turned out bad because I focused on keeping the car kit cheap without much modifications, and it ended up that the car looked cross eyed. No offense to cross eyed people

So you think it can be converted to TT boosted and tuned for under a grand?
A conversion can be reached many ways, but here is my run down on an average Joe's setup.
1 buy 2+2 Zed from Craiglist 5k
2 Find a competent Zed mechanic in B.C. and agree to a conversion sum
3 buy a "clip" (Zed part cars from Japan) and transport it to mechanic 4k
4 buy $1000 worth of parts for horsepower upgrade
5 pay mechanic for work ~3k+
400hp 2+2 Zed for 13k
or 8 grand for the conversion and upgrade alone if one already owns a non turbo Zed

Hey, I converted my old Nissan 200sx into a TT for under $400... mind you, it was already a single turbo and I had the second turbo sitting in the garage from a previous car... but the statement still remains.
That said, I blew an oil feed line to one of the turbo's without realising it while on a long drive and... kabloey. Good-bye engine.
The thing is that it's easy to buy the big major pieces like a turbo, FMIC and basic piping for under $1g, though it's most definitely not going to be reliable... the money wasters come in the forms of proper oil and fuel fittings, couplings, t-clamps (none of that worm gear shit), stainless braided lines, etc., etc. Oh, and don't forget rebuilding your engine to be able to cope with that extra power. Aaaaand either a TT ecu or a completely new stand alone system like Megasquirt.
Why do you compare everything to the NSX? From the sounds of it you only like fairly large, MR cars (with the exception being the Aston).
As far as why people don't do extensive body mods, well it's because it usually looks silly. I know there's a company in Japan that made S13's look like Cruella De Vils car (101 Dalmatians lol). In the end, by the time you made it look more like an exotic, you've still got a 90's Nissan interior and drivetrain...
