And the civic Si

I made this Zonda inspired one before and went to an Acura forum to get feedback on it but they deleted my thread because I wasnt an authorized dealer  even though it was a concept design. For now its on the back burner.

For the Civic I added the Aston widebody and a Ferrari bumper on it with an extra cut underneath the headlights, its kinda weird but it could look good if it is made and seen in person.

^ dude, I give you props for all this hard work-- photoshopping the pictures, actually making molds and whatnot but.. this forum isn't where you're going to get positive feedback. this type of stuff doesn't belong in Vancouver so to speak, anymore.

has anyone reality checked this guy or has it just been straight bashing ?

let me ask you 1 simple question Arash,

Do you have a shop that YOU own that has the necessary tools and equipment to make fiberglass and urethane body components ????
or do you just have an idea, a copy of photoshop and some weak sauce paper mache skills ?

Yes, but this guy is blatantly not in touch with it.

Not all hybrid front ends look bad... just 98% of them.

The same people that are criticizing you are your consumers.

If they don't want it, they won't buy it. Simple as that.

RabidRat 09-16-2010 12:19 PM

^ yeah good point.

Props for the hard work though, it looks like you put a lot into all this.

I would be surprised to find any internet forum to give positive feed back, I more posted my car to market it in advance.

Are those your prerequisites before you buy a body kit, I'll finish the car, you save your money :p

You seem like a nice guy but extremely naive, you should really do some research first.

This isn't elementary school where you get a pat on the back for trying, you're going to get chewed up and spit out when you fail. From the looks of it so far, you really don't know what you're doing.

Here's what I believe, taste is subjective but there is such a thing as "common" taste. Common taste would be the majority of auto enthusiasts correct? "Uncommon" taste would be a catagory you're in, along with a few others, chances are those few others don't own a 300zx. How big is your world now?

It's cool that you're doing it for yourself but don't get your hopes up on selling the kit when you're thinking stock height/high offset is adequate. I could already guess what type of rims/setup you'll get if you decide address that problem.

I'm not an expert, but just my 2 cents

I disagree, auto enthusiasts dont buy all the cars and I will also be selling my kit assembled as a whole car.

Pretty much all cars come in stock height and rims when bought from the factory, the owners can do what ever their auto enthusiastic taste serves them :nerd:

Lastly not everyone has money to spare for ride height

.

underscore 09-16-2010 02:51 PM

if they can't afford to change the height, how can they afford your monstrosity?

Am I missing something here ? ARE YOU NOT PLANNING ON MAKING MORE OF THESE AND SELLING THEM ?

if so, how are you planning on doing that without a shop and tools not to mention people capable of making custom bumpers from scratch ?
I know polyurethane and fiberglass are your typical body kit fabrics, but when did paper mache become a viable option.

u gotta be fking kidding me

DiiCii 09-16-2010 05:49 PM

can you lean on the bumper without breaking it? if it breaks, i suggest you to do only neighborhood driving under 30km/h LOL. and what's up with all the grills? the majority of us put function before form. all the pics we posted have fmic's, your photoshops consists of only grills. also, i don't even understand why people would ask you to photoshop their cars, you may have a big imagination, but all you're doing is using pre-existing car's front ends:facepalm: if you're putting the supercar look on, i suggest you to also have the power within that car to back it up. i respect the hard work and dedication, cause that's what comes from the heart. but.. a fwd 195hp aston martin zonda integra? REALLY? before you envision you're success in business, make sure you're project is done and right. btw, you didn't do a nose job, looks more like a cast:lol my two cents. good luck either way though. i wouldn't be surprised if you got a "told you so"

You speak as if people are going to be lined up asking to by kit... I can only be so optimistic, but hey, a couple pages back I posted and mentioned that my kit is already made of fiberglass... read back and there is more detail to that.

I did a lot work on this one because I like Toyota and would like to make kit around one.

On this Civic, the rear window would be taken out, fiberlgass added, and a new plastic glass put in place.

I answered this already

All the vents are put there for function.

also, i don't even understand why people would ask you to photoshop their cars, you may have a big imagination, but all you're doing is using pre-existing car's front ends:facepalm:
I photoshop their cars and make them look better, you just dont understand car design.

if you're putting the supercar look on, i suggest you to also have the power within that car to back it up. i respect the hard work and dedication, cause that's what comes from the heart. but.. a fwd 195hp aston martin
Yes but unfortunately money does not grow on trees.

zonda integra? REALLY? before you envision you're success in business, make sure you're project is done and right.
I think it looks better and if I have 10-20 deposits I would make it, even before finishing my personal design

btw, you didn't do a nose job, looks more like a cast:lol my two cents. good luck either way though. i wouldn't be surprised if you got a "told you so"
Yes and with enough layers it could be stronger then the previous flimsy stock 300zx bumper... just ask any owner that has taken one apart.
