bad gasoline.....how to drain tank

So I'm fairly certain I've got a tank of bad gas. Filled up 40 liters, drove home fine about 3km's, shut it down and went in. Today, fired it up and it sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders. No CEL's, just sounded like crap and lugged. Plugs and wires are fine...checked it out.

I'm going to throw in a new fuel filter tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure its the gas. So is there any additives I can add or will it be best if I drained the tank? What's the best way to do it without using the mouth and hose method?

Its a 1992 pathfinder.

TIA

Check for water in the spark valley first.

theres a bung with a 1/2" socket hole under the tank just use an extension and believe Lefty-loosely. Gloves plz. Make sure you have enough tubs too. GL. That gas can prob go into a lawn mower as it doesn't care.

Drain plug is f'in messy. Make sure you have a really big pan and pads to catch what doesn't make it into your container.

"Cleanest" way would be to come over and borrow my cheapy syphon and my ghetto fabbed, hose->fuel pump->hose setup. Jut hook it up to a booster pack and right into a Jerry can.

If you can find a way to tap into your fuel line, you can also disconnect it, direct it into a container and give 12V to your fuel pump.
