Watch out for green lights in both directions. I was going eastbound on 41st and the light turned green, while it was still GREEN northbound on Granville. Caused some confusion for some drivers and I saw someone take a video of it. Happened Monday around 3pm.

Damn, what the hell happened there. Traffic system hacked!!.

Interesting... there are electrical interlocks in the switching system to prevent that kind of thing happening... and they rarely fail.

Yes, there was a traffic light malfunction at that intersection on Monday. Crew were sent out quickly to control traffic and fixed the lights. They are normal now :)

If that happened in Richmond, expect a gong show to happen LOL

id take my lawnchair and some popcorn and watch the show! prolly more exciting then half the movies playing at the cinemas...

so i wonder..if there is an accident because of these green lights...then who's at fault?..and who's paying icbc to fix the damage?

better watch from a building who knows what might happen to you.

I'd think ICBC will just eat the damage. It's a very rare occurrence, it's probably at the very end of ICBC's list of accidents that may occur.

on 41st east bound, left turn lane, there is a huge manhole cover sticking out and would take out oil pans. i kid you not.

just a heads up. almost ran over it with my car today.
