207. If you yelled for 8 years 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

316. Pac-Man, Namco's 1979 arcade game, was originally called "Puck Man". The name was changed when they realized that vandals could easily scratch out part of the letter "P".

Some of them are pretty interesting and at least i learned something new.

301. The past-tense of the English word "dare" is "durst".

Interesting to read, ONLY if ALL of them were actually FACTS.

I seriously doubt if most of them are correct.

67. The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from an old English law, which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

"Is is not to be found in William Blackstone's treatise on English common law. On the contrary, British law since the 1700s and our American laws predating the Revolution prohibit wife beating, though there have been periods and places in which the prohibition was only indifferently enforced"

This article contains many factoids, so before you go out and repeat this non-sense to others and spread stupidity all over the land, please double up and do your own research lol.

EDIT* I just noticed the title is "320 Mostly Useless But Interesting Facts"... well they certainly are useless, seeing as many would seem to be incorrect.
