Sexy~

thats pretty sick, IMO i think they could have done something better instead of putting led's in the headlights though, every automanufacturers are following this trend now

Arash 09-26-2010 04:17 PM

This is the nicest Civic Ive seen in a long time...

There must be a conspiracy between large automobile manufacturers to keep cars dull, I mean if Toyota has the capability to make the beautiful LFA, why the hell cant they put a shell like that on the IS. I think the answer here is, if they did that, what would they sell you next year or the years after if you have a beautiful car already.

rawr 09-26-2010 04:23 PM

IMO it looks better than the C-class

umm kinda cool commercial.... but there was only like 8 seconds of an actual beat....

twitchyzero 09-26-2010 04:34 PM

looks more aggressive and hood-bulge seems to be less apparent.
cant find any pics of normal IS..i hope they have the next gen IS by late next year.

shenmecar 09-26-2010 04:39 PM

I guess this is the last hurrah for the 2nd gen IS. Wonder when a 3rd gen concept will be released?

G 09-26-2010 04:50 PM

Everyone's adding LED lights now eh....Despite that, I like it more than the old IS's

optiblue 09-26-2010 05:10 PM

great, now we'll see more older IS's modded with LED strips -_-"

The_AK 09-26-2010 05:13 PM

I don't know about you guys but i thought the commercial was pretty lame... what am i trying to get out of it? I don't see how a Lexus sports sedan relates to the beat or the drums. I mean, the idea is kinda cool how they were able to use the car to hit each drum... but can't you throw out the Lexus and put any other car in the same position?

I don't know, it just doesn't speak to me.
What do others think?

donjalapeno 09-26-2010 05:55 PM

jesus, LEDS STRIPS ONLY LOOK GOOD ON AUDI'S.....this led thing is gonna get played out just like the halos

I definitely did not feel the commercial at all.

Lexus usually does a 5 year cycle and then a new gen is released. This ones an exception I guess, since IS 2nd gen is going on for 5th, on to 6th year. So next year, a 3rd gen will be out for sure. Probably summer, or end of summer.

Arash 09-26-2010 07:17 PM

I wonder how many IS forum members got ridiculed for wanting LED strips... and now they come stock.

The car in the commercial is the normal IS. It is not the ISF

LED DRLs are becoming more mainstream because of the upcoming EU requirement (all DRLs must be LED).. It's not because they're all trying to mock Audi..

DAMN SON, YOU HIGH?

Arash 09-27-2010 12:51 AM

You saw the photoshop I made above right? Even if reshaping a car is going to cost Toyota a lot of money at least they can give it a cheap face lift like their concept car here.

I love the LFA, LS and the SC is okay but the rest are boring looking to me :(
