The Bently is a dream car but...
the replica doesnt match it
With my own hands I would rework the nose to be thicker and flatter and not so slanted. I have done my part here, now someone translate my wisdom to that poor soul before he finish the car and makes it looks like a backyard racer. Quote:

I don't think you're on any level to be critiquing what this guy has managed to accomplish so far.
Oh, and this fail button?

Yes that fail button... and I am on a level to be criticizing him if the builders intentions are to replicate that beautiful race car. My work involves car design and all you have contributed to this thread is troll-ery.

I was supporting my automotive comment. What are your feelings about that mans hard work on the race car... and why are you diverting your attention to me... |

holy shit.... holy fukin shit...
i thought i had patience...
this guy even fabricated his own equipment used to fabricate equipment for the car my god.....
where did he get all the parts too is this like some school project? cuz the guy doesnt look old at all.... wtf
im in awe!!!
Bentley should like give him one or let him drive the real thing as a congratulations
Can't wait to see the end result
On another note how many of you are making one of these now?
and browsing the website racepaper.de ?
as for looking like the real thing... we haven't seen the end result yet really i'm sure it would look similar but he must have things to take into consideration when copying a car |

If he was to do the car model above, which is way slimmer then the current mould, he would probably need like titanium parts that are thin and strong enough to fit in such a tight place.
Personally I see all that work wasted if the body dimensions dont change... it would just have inner beauty and self build satisfaction.

He should have copied this model to start with and it would be beautiful to look at.
Also, I believe he can only get sued if he tries to sell it or tries to sell it with the name Bently included.

Wtf is he doing in this epic thread? You do realize the man BUILT a car, and not any car but an awesome car. And honestly, the thing is pretty fucking close to the original... And it's got go so if someone beaks him he can still run it around a track and pwn... Assuming it's as fast as it looks.
As for the guy being able to afford etc. You should see some of the shit that gets built up there and how old the guys are. Don't ask me how it happens but it does haha.

What can I say, I only speak the truth... the car looks like crap. This is why in an automobile company there are engineers and there are designers, those guys need a designer.

I give the guy HUGE props for all that hard work, and crazy level of time/skill/quality ect
but why the hell did he drive it in the rain! man all that work, and he got impatient and had to drive it. I can understand wanting to give it a test, but there is no way I would risk all my efforts by getting all that bare metal wet =(
