BBM in Hong Kong

is there any way to use BBM in Hong Kong as part of a Pay-As-You-Go plan?

No there isn't a pay-as-you-go plan for bbm in HK.
there is only monthly plans. the only company that offers a no contract on blackberry plans is Smartone. $398HKD for unlimited data usage + about $100HKD ish for voice plans + what whatever options u need will run about $498 a month but month to month base u may cut it anytime u want. hopes this help.
if not just turn off 3G and leave your current sim card in atm and just WIFI BBM, as there are many WIFI hot spots thruout HK.

i am having the same issue.
there aren't a lot of wifi hot spots in hk. second, i want to keep my bb on all the time when I do have wifi, but i dont' want to carry two phones when i am in HK using another phone with a hk sim card.

there's no other way around it... I had the same problem in HK, I carried around two phone's in HK for the first week but than I decided to just get the plan, as I was there for 8 months.
