We have a E.I customer at work who told us when he worked on oil mines he didnt have to wear a hardhat cause of his turbans. it's cool and all, but if they dont have to wear helmets in OUR country, we shouldn't have to wear a helmet either.

not hatin, i think its good to stand up for your rights.. but come on..

But they have to wear turban. So if you don't want to wear a helmet just but on a turban.

you guys are acting like wearing helmets is a bad thing. if i had the choice of wearing a helmet on a bike or no helmet. id definatley pick the helmet.

plus. do you guys even realise how hard it is to take care of that much hair? all the washing and shampoo. then drying then tying it up? its a fucken hassle. ill take the helmet in a heartbeat

so it should be a choice for everyone to wear a helmet and to wear a seatbelt too... I agree i would never ride my bike without a helmet, but in the end it my own life at risk, me not wearing a helmet/seatbelt isnt gonna hurt anyone else. a common rebuttal to that is that others are going to have to pay for my medical bills when I'm a vegetable with brain damage...
funny fact. ICBC changed their points system recently, you no longer get points on your license for not wearing a seatbelt/helmet. just a ticket. so they just wanna collect the money.

What about your family or anyone that was involved in the accident.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "our" country? White people? First nations? what?

I'd rather wear a helmet. Aside from religious reasons preventing people from wearing a helmet, only an idiot like Ben Roethlisberger would ride without one because it wasn't against the law in the state he was riding...

Ben Roethlisberger would need a custom helmet to fit his Frankenstein head.

I think he means CANADIAN. What does skin colour have to do with it?

I'm born in Canada, I am Canadian, my ethnicity is Asian and I feel this is MY country.

In MY country, I feel that safety should be above religion and turban/beanie riders should be charged higher insurance rates for disregarding the helmet law.
