Ban puppy sale in richmond pet stores?

I heard this over the news that they want to ban puppy sales in pet stores in richmond.

I hope this is true so people can stop supporting puppy mills and buy from proper breeder or adopt from sPCA

I agree nothing good comes from Pet Stores selling puppies!!!!

People are misinformed, lied to, over charged etc

it is kind of funny because pet habitat says they do not use puppy mills, but when a news channel did an investigation, they found that the puppies were coming from a mill. It just took a little digging and searching to find out that info. They even visited the warehouse with hidden cameras.

pet habitat in richmond center and metro town are definitely using puppy mills. Also they over charge people for the puppies

I always prefer to take a puppy from a proper breeder. They are reliable and dont charge you more.

All of the chain pet stores use puppy mills (and cat mills, and rabbit mills and line bred hamsters and rats and guinea pigs) and backyard breeders. They just say they don't. All of them do.

where can i find and watch an episode of show such as "60mins" or "Olsen on your side" about puppy mills where they investigate and bust the poeple who breed animals in that way.

+1. Plus, whenever my dog had any minor health problems, we would just give her a call and she would be more than happy to give us advice before seeing the vet. And she invites us over whenever she has puppies :)

Better google it. try fifth estate or a local one if you want to see anything local.
