| just bought this iphone from someone from rs............
right when i connect i get this. 
just by looking at this it looks like no one know the fix?
i mean when you hold the phone it works and all. it has the connect to itunes logo and when i connect it i get this. what should i do :/
seller is extremely nice. he came from richmond to vancouver and delivered it to my door so i dont want to lay the brick on him yet.

damn so i basically cant use it cause im using rogers and if i plug in this sim it wont connect to itunes. and if i dont put in a sim it wont sync either....

what version is iphone running on? If it is the older version of firmware you can just jailbrake and unlock it yourself. if it is the newer one you can pay some store at crystal mall to do it like $20.
I had to get the guy at crystal mall do it since my iphone was on the newer firmare. I try to do it myself. Download the older firmaware and follow the instruction online but I couldn't lol.

^i honestly have no clue. he restored it and its on that connect to itunes screen so i cant even reach the home screen until i get a fido sim and connect to itunes lol.

get your friends fido sim and plug it in the computer and if that phone just got the latest update then looks like you gotta wait!

Just contact the seller to see what carrier it is locked on.
If not, bring it into an Apple store and see what happens.

try a different program to manage your phone? and/or unlock the phone with one of those unlock chips that go under the SIM?
