| Price for imported 07/08 335i coupe?
Hey, I'm interested in getting a manual 07 or 08 335i coupe... I've been looking around, but what is the general cost of one fully loaded (ie. sport/premium pkg/nav)?
I've been quoted ~$38-41k (US models, 50k-70k km - all tax/import fees in), does that sound about right?

that's a bit high for a US model. You can get a local car for that price...

I'd be going through a dealer (not doing it myself) so I understand there will be some overhead costs... But that being said, still high?

buy one from a BMW dealer.. factory pre-owned warranty is of utmost importance for that car.

AND you'd be buying from a revscene member!

Make sure it doesn't have the HPFP failure, they are quite common in the 335i
BMW USA extended the HPFP warranty to 10 years, but Canadian dealers will not honor it, and there are no such extended warranty from BMW Canada.

The HPFP problem is WAY over-exaggerated
But to OP, definitely look into buying certified preowned from a dealer here, nothing like warranty.

Not only is is exaggerated, but it's a short drive to get it service just south of the border where they will honor any warranties on an ex-usa car.

DRIVE auto is owned by a RS member? I always thought it is one of those shady dealerships.

DRIVEauto is Mark's venture, and I can vouch for him.. all the cars he sells are really nice / no stories. He doesn't deal in shit cars, and he's a very sharp and organised business person. There are others on here that can vouch for him too.

Auto Exchange (Since 1978) is my family's dealership, DRIVE Auto is the division that I built when I started in the business back in '05 and we are working towards moving all our inventory into my division. I see you have seen the coupe that I have in stock right now either on Craigslist or on the Vancouver Sun/Province website.
I am not an advertiser here and I dont want to spam or push the rules but if you have seen the car on Craigslist, then you have my cell number and email address which are listed on the ad and I'd be happy to answer any questions for you I can.
Also, FYI and for all interested parties... BMW Canada honours the warranty on US cars 100%, the difference is that the factory included maintenance program is not valid in Canada. What that means is that if anything breaks, it can be fixed here in Canada under the warranty as if it was a Canadian car, however if you need scheduled maintenance such as an oil change done, you need to either pay to have it done in Canada or go to Seattle to have it done for free.

I have bought several 335s that have had the fuel pumps replaced but not had any issues with them since. My parents have a 335 cab that had it done when it was virtually new at about 1000kms and have put 30k on it since then with no problems.
