| Bell or Rogers ?
I wanna get Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant.
As I know Bell has it.
But, I've been Rogers' customer for like 6 yrs and so far so good with rogers.
Just wondering How's Bell ? if i wanna go with Samsung Galaxy S with bell.
How's Bell's service, 3G speed, and Reception ??

I was with Bell but I left, I had reception problems with them in some suburban areas of the city but mostly I had HORRIBLE customer services issues with them. So terrible in fact that I went to Telus.
If you're having good experiences with Rogers, I would advise you to stay with them.
Also as a long standing customer you will gain more bargaining power with your cell phone provider, so in general if you find one that works for you, keep it. Next time you come up for a renewal speak to their client care and try and get escalated to retentions, you could end up with a free phone or a good deal.

You know that Rogers is getting the same phone at the end of the month right? Samsung Captivate. http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirel...ailed=I896BLKR
I'd wait for it if you've been with them for so long.

Dood, your 6 years with Rogers is leverage with retentions down the road. Bell has reception issues. Although their HSPA internet is frickin' rape! So damn fast! I would either source out a brand new Galaxy S on GraigsList or wait for the Captivate. It's not that far from release now.

My work phone is through Bell 3G, and I think there is something seriously wrong with their network. I'm in city centres with full bars reported, yet the call either gets dropped, they can't hear me, or is constantly crackly. It could be my phone, but the whole company complains of the same issues (Bold 9700s)
My personal phone is through Rogers and is way better. 3G is faster, too.

Personally the captivate looks way better. Preemo is right. You have leveraging power with retentions for better contract. But if you're willing to switch networks to get that phone it's up to you.

wait 2 weeks and get the captivate from Rogers.....im guessing it will be $499.99 or $549.99 w/o contract and $99 - $149 with contract
that is ur best bet
also i just got a captivate and now have found true love

I would never switch carriers for a cell phone that's going to be out of date before your new contract even ends.

You are better of sticking with Rogers. With Bell, if you are not in one of their 3g areas, you will lose signal and since some Bell 3g phone most likely doesn't have CDMA chip in there, you won't be able to use your phone (iphone 4 being one of these phones).
