I'll check that out tomorrow. Bliss didn't turn out TOO well. Didn't really notice a difference. Feels nice on the face though lol.

real advice:

clean up your diet. eat more fruits and veggies and foods that are as natural as possible.

get lots of sleep!!!

use a toner after you wash. rose water is good too (as a toner). it costs only like $3-4 for 150ml.

My diet is pretty clean actually. I think its mainly my sleep patterns. Lately I haven't been consistently sleeping at my usual time.

i second clinique, and half the time dont listen to the people telling you its your food thats making your skin look like shit. Unless you are eating KFC for every meal thats probably not your problem.

I understand how you feel about 3 step programs but skin is kind of like school, for some people you gotta put time into it to get the results..

well anyways like the other people here said, try a toner as that will be your exfoliator, it will also get rid of any of the dead skin cells that will clog your pores and cause you to break out.

The main concern you should be looking into is moisturizing, it doesnt matter how good your cleanser is if the weather (especially the shit we've been having lately) dries the shit out your skin and irritates it to death. Your skin will look red, cracked, and you may even break out because your skin will over produce sebum which will clog your pores.. =_=

anyways also let us know what type of skin you have (sensitive(yes/no)) (Dry, Combination,Oily)

In any case i recommend the clinique moisture surge :)

clinique is pretty good,
i really like the "Zirh" line specifically the face wash (teatand the face lotion combo these are products made specifically for men, i get it from Bay but on occasion i find some of the soaps in homesense for cheaper.

Awesome. I'll look into Clinique.

My skin type is Sensitive and Combination of both Dry and Oily.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is best for all skin types. I use Olay Complete (Classic) for a moisturizer.

Zirh has great looking products on an awesome online store/customer service. But I used their products for half a year and didn't like the results. Little pricey also.

if you are in downtown, there is a shop on Davie and Homer that carries these products

The place in between the dry cleaner and the salon right?

JSilver 12-23-2010 10:26 AM

Any idea what the name of the store is?

Okami 12-23-2010 12:15 PM

or.... you can go to shoppers drug mart for zirh. just make sure its a bigger location

yellowpower 12-25-2010 08:27 PM

yeah i think sleep contributes the most for me. My diet is quite good as i eat lots of fruits and no oily foods (kinda) but i still tendto break out here and there. Slept at 4 last night and broke out in the morning!
And also smoking... a big nono...

JSilver 01-09-2011 05:09 PM

Purchased the Clinique Mens Facial Wash.

I'll let you guys know how it turns on in a week or two.

iam_dan 03-18-2011 09:01 PM

drink a lot of water

make sure to use toner and moisturizer too
ive had excellent experiences with biotherm (regular line, NOT men's), and ole henrikson's toner (green bottle)

Fobman 03-18-2011 09:24 PM

using biotherm and it sucks...
