One of the most scariest accident I've ever encountered

Hey RS members

So I thought i posted this up as I just got back from the hospital just today. Just a minor injury on my neck, back, chest and my knee caps. Yes, Im still able to walk and breathe. Doctor said i will recover slowly.

Basically, i came from TBC racing with my friends and headed home right after to drop my friend home. After we left TBC racing, I was coming from the highway toward richmond which connects to alderbridge. I slowed down to go under 60KM post limited speed zone and was on the right lane. All of the sudden the oncoming blue dodge caraven (I think) turned left on to shell road. Now i dont know how he could not see me going past the intersection when it was green light for me. As i saw him turned, i immediately brake and honk at the same time. My car obviously couldnt stop on time so i swerve to the right and then his car hit my car which then hit another car who was on shell road. both me and my friend were injured in the car. air bags came out, radiator fluid was leaking and it was hot inside of the car, so i told my friend to get out of the car immediately so nothing happens to the car.
the blue van driver came out of the car and he was totally fine. i was crippled and was yelling at him. well not exactly yelling, i was questioning him why he would turn left like that. and he didnt say anything. i ignored him and called 911 to explain what happened. the third car on shell road were injured as well as my car hit them. one of my other friend came by and saw the accident and pulled over to look for me as he recognize my car.
i got off the road to lie down and wait for the ambulance, cops and firetrucks to take care of this.
ambulance then took me to the hospital for check up and been there for 5 hours.

i came home, called icbc to explain the accident and from there. i will find out what happens later.

couple of my friends drove by the incidents and saw my car. i was getting massive texts and calls. one of my friends took pictures of it and forward this to me.

so thought i share some pictures.

BEFORE:
Honda Civic Si with Mugen RR conversion

AFTER:

RIP Mugen RR

I only had this car for about 6 months and i had a goal for this baby....shooot.

MOST IMPORTANT, im just really glad to be alive....
my advice for all you drivers, always be aware of other drivers and be a safe driver.

Glad you're (relatively) ok! I hope you have witnesses, and get a lawyer ASAP and don't give a statement to ICBC right away. ICBC is going to try and fuck you up the ass even if it's not your fault. My claim took 4 years to settle, and I was deemed 100% not at fault! Go visit your doctor on a regular basis, go to physio, and keep all receipts for pain medication! Don't settle right away, you'll get less money.

Its fortunate you are in decent spirits after this incident and I wish you the best in recovery and dealing with ICBC.

However its also unfortunate to see someones hard work crushed up because of some idiot driver. The good news, a car is replaceable.

Best wishes!

Oh damn man. Glad you are alive, and that sucks what happened to the car! Perfect car...

You should be fully compensated, and I second what senna says. Don't settle with ICBC immediately.

Sorry to hear this, and it's sad to see a tastefully modded car gone. But the most important thing is that you're still alive indeed.

Too bad you're stating that you're hardly injured. Could've pretended you're having major back problems and made some big bucks .
