Help with Bold 9700

So i recently bought a white blackberry bold 9700 from craigslist and it works great but there is no mms option. i can't find it ANYWHERE on the phone!
Has anyone ever had this problem or a solution to it?

messenger --> bb button --> compose mms

yeah, i know it's not there though.
also, in my service books i see nothing related to mms at all

I have a friend with a bold 9700 with rogers and he can do mms messaging on his phone(also rogers) D:

rogers can, but fido can't
rogers have rogers branded 9700, fido doesn't have a fido branded 9700

thaat hurrtss -.- is there a way to get it or no?

edit: also i had a tmobile 9700 before this rogers one and it had sms and mms..
