Anyone know where to find this type of duct hose? Looked through home depot and rona and not the same type. Ones from hardware stores are quite large in diameter, plus the inside is quite "rough" instead of a smooth transition. Project is for an extra ram air into the airbox (here's a link of what i'm trying to achieve IS300: DIY for “TU Intake Snorkel” Mod | Tuner University)

Currently, am using the flexible hosing from rona but want one that is smooth internally. Max diameter that I'm looking for is 2". Any ideas?

Greenline on Venables between Clark and Commercial, or else Annacis Island. I bought some of that hose for a vacuum system that I was working on. It's plastic with the spiral reinforcement around the outside. A little stiff for routing around tight corners but the inside is totally smooth.

Where to buy this type of bag?

Or something similar.

Online or Local - does not matter.
Prefer Local/Bellingham

http://www.revscene.net/forums/62766...hread-103.html

but Canadian Tire or even BCAA will sell emergency road side bags

tiger_handheld 05-27-2012 06:10 PM

Was thinking about posting in there , but it was "where can i buy it LOCALLY". I dont mind buying online or in Bellingham(which could/could not be local to some).

technicality i guess.

smaggs 05-27-2012 06:46 PM

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say walmart has it

tiger_handheld 05-27-2012 06:52 PM

checked walmart (the closest i found was the emergency kit pack), checked home depot , checked lowes.

Davie Street has this. Just start asking people for Bear Semen and they will point you in the right direction.

Frugal Asian answer............ you can get a used propane tank at recycling depot (gotta sweet talk the attendant, because anything that ends up there is not to be reused), take old expired tank to Home Depot for exchange. Look for newest tank available.

Voila, new tank filled up with propane.

When I went, I got a brand new tank in exchange. After I use up the propane, I go to Superstore - cheapest place for refill. Whenever that tank expires, I will go again to Home Depot to get newer tank.

They only carry the 20 pounders. Even then, why go to the recycling depot? Just drive down any alley and there'll be one sitting in the weeds beside the garbage cans. I don't think Superstore look at the expiry dates when you get an exchange bottle. Gotta learn the frugal asian way.............
