I usually order all my cables and adapters and such from monoprice since they're a great company and everything I've ordered has worked perfectly.
You do have to pay shipping, but the 5 times I ordered ( all on monday for some reason), I got my shipment the next Monday. I have a composite to hdmi that I use for my xbox and it works wonderfully.

Got a small 2-3mm dent on the corner of my laptop. It has created somewhat of a sharp edge.
Where can I get this smoothed out?
Thanks.

Will it make further scratches? The laptop body is made of aluminum if it makes a difference.

Any idea where I can buy a micro USB cable for cheap? (like, eBay cheap -- $0.99). NCIX seems to want to charge $10 for it, and there is NO WAY I'd pay that much.

They wont scratch it up as much as sandpaper, it will smooth it and leave light scuffs.

Scotchbright pads aren't stiff enough and will scuff a larger area than necessary. Use 400 grit or higher sandpaper wrapped around something hard and straight, like a block of wood. Or just clean it up with a file.

It depends on how careful the OP is. Obviously if he goes at it with the full thing yes, same with sandpaper.
Both would probably work Razor.
If you are just going to round off the sharp edge use the sandpaper, the scotch brite will smooth it out i think better and also gives it a nice look.

I ended up using 600 grit and taped down the surrounding areas of the dent so I wouldn't accidentally scratch the bezel further. Worked like a charm!

Looking to buy a travel power strip that does 220V.
Edit: I will be plugging my Canadian electronics (which is rated for 120-240V) to the strip, which itself will be plugged into the walls of Australia (220V)
Should look something like this
