Not exactly "buying"... but does anyone know where I can get some boxes for free?
Like the ones Costco give out... but I'm looking for something maybe smaller.

Does anybody know where I can test/buy portable headphone amps? like Cmoy? Thanks! :D

For those interested in a headphone amp, I found a really reputable cmoy amp builder on head-fi.org. Great reviews and good price too! I will be ordering one shortly. :D

You can try Wilkonson's, they have a neat little store in Vancouver (by MEC). Their prices are usually cheaper than those rice shops (i.e. Metrotown).

However, I've found that Autoart models have gone up in price everywhere, so I think it's more of AA raising wholesale prices and not so much retail stores jacking up prices (w/ the exception of rice stores).

As above, Wilkinson's is good, and not just for models.

You can also check out Kevin's Hobbies, which is local. I'm not sure if they have a storefront, or if they are online-only.

like murd0c said, use a can of compressed air (like the ones you use on computers etc) and what you do is turn it upside down and spray.

dollar store.

EDIT: If you're a cheap Asian, you can get one for free at Ikea. They're made of paper, but in a pinch, they work well. Metric on one side and imperial on the other. They are hanging up at the computer workstations.
