looks like they sell a clip to stop it from opening accidentally too (suggested for extreme environments)

The clip is for heavy duty machinery. It works for sure, but might be overkill on a passenger car. Never hurts though. The lever does lock down into a groove. It will not loosen itself over time. BTW, it's Made in Japan goodness. It ain't gonna come apart on you. I couldn't be happier with their product. Funny thing is, you can only get it on-line. The distributor for Canada is in Port Coquitlam or thereabouts. He's looking for someone to sell it on a retail level.

Jim, jump on it! Being a RS sponsor, this would be perfect. It's such a neat product.

I've seen these artists outside the entrance of the Vancouver Aquarium after my shift. They're sometimes there and sometimes not so it's a hit or miss. I've also seen them along Robson street.

Overseas Auto1 08-29-2012 09:20 AM

It should be Mei Yu you're talking about.

She sets up shop wherever the action is.

And right now, that is the PNE. She is in the Showmart. Saw her there last Tuesday.

Ebay's your best bet. If any local vendor carry them....they would be pretty pricey.

But please don't get them. The "LED" part is not as cool as you think.
Save up for the money, and get a proper retrofit instead.

Do your headlights look like this...

http://media.automotive.com/izmo/pix.../headlight.jpg

Or like this....

http://images.thecarconnection.com/l...00282765_l.jpg

Look at the outer unit (right side). If it is the first one; its a halogen. If it is the second; its a xenon (HID).

I'm guessing it is first one because otherwise, you'll already have HIDs.

If this is true, for the sake of God. DO NOT JUST PLUG HIDs INTO YOUR HEADLAMP. Do a proper retrofit where you get the right headunit (like the second pic) so that your light displacement isn't all messed up and isn't going to blind other drivers.

GLOW 08-30-2012 03:50 PM

you mean it's not fun seeing nothing but white while driving?

jimzilla 08-30-2012 09:56 PM

I'm going travelling and I'm looking for like a cross-body wallet thing that I can put my wallet and passport in without it being snatched from my pockets.

Like a fanny-pack but cross body. I will not wear a fanny-pack.

EDIT: Something that looks like the "Runnur" would be awesome

Plug and plays like that are retrofits and should be fine. Should being the key word depending on who made them and the quality of the build.

Side note, you may want to make sure that voltage is the same for halogens and xenons. I know that for BMWs, they are different and if you simply did a PnP for it, it will throw errors for your car.

Don't know if there's really an official beer pong table, but form what I've played on, people use ping pong tables, dinner tables, or those plastic white fold tables. I'm sure you can CL those plastic tables for cheap.

Vansterdam 08-31-2012 05:54 AM

i remember seeing a beer pong official-regulation-size table on craigslist 1-2 months ago

was preety sweet you could take it apart and it folds into a briefcase style table

i think this is it or somewhat similar

beer pong table
