...? Where did you get this information from? I know the similar thing is true for gas because they calculate octane differently, but I've never heard of such a thing for milk. I have a hard time believing this, because the type of milk (2%, 1%) IS representative of the fat content... so unless they have a different method of calculating percentage of fat, not sure how this could be true.

Easiest is T&T but Crystal Mall, Parker Place, Yaohan all has stores I've seen that sell these. Can't confirm on other malls though such as Aberdeen and such but these aren't hard to find.

My bad.
I'm just going by what a friend has experienced when he buys his milk from the USA.
I will say that it is not a professional opinion. Just a taste factor.

You should be able to find this at the LDB on Cambie and 41st. If you want to pay more money there is a specialty store on south side unit block east pender by the Chinese cultural centre. It is where Dragon Martial Art supplies used to be.
Called the Modern Bartender at 28 east pender

Is that Japanese or Chinese?
There was a place in Chinatown on east Pender and Columbia that did it.

It's Kanji, which is based on, or is the same as, Chinese. So yeah, that would work, for sure. Name of shop?

fliptuner 11-12-2012 04:12 PM

Pender, between Main and Carrall has quite a few shops that will carve stamps. Particularly, on the North side of Pender, East of Columbia, there should be 2 or 3 shops right there. I'm not sure what material you want but they'll do jade for sure.

Anyone know anywhere with a wide variety of home thermostats?

Specifically, I'm looking for a digital display model BUT..for the 2 wire baseboard style heating system, not central heat etc

Rona and Home Depot only have 2 models for the baseboard heaters and they are pretty ugly
