Karashi-Mentaiko Ogata Agesen? You can find that at Fujiya. If there isn't any, they've sold out. |

has anyone seen maisto 1:18 fresh metal diecast motorcycles around? looking for ducati's http://www.tokyohobby.com/pics/ducati1098s2a.jpg |
Not sure what thread to put this in for the food/resturant sub section, so thought this area would be more appropriate. What is a GOOD japanese resturant that is open late on a weeknight in Richmond/Vancouver area? Ebisu DT opens till midnight... Any other suggestions? Preferably somewhere that opens till like 1 or 2? Looks too hot for my liking. BTW, jtrinh, I should say hi next time. I've seen you at least half a dozen times. Revscene lanyard kind of gives it away. You're always busy, so I don't say anything.......... unlike the coworker with the sideburns, who's on his iPhone more often than not, LOLOLOL. Gotta love Shaw Open, eh? Next time I see him, I should take pic and upload it. Hee hee....... |

Yeah, ojii-chan. Say hello next time! I wish I could take advantage of the shaw open.. Don't have a shaw account. We have cameras facing every which way. Sometimes I think its more for watching the employees and making sure we're working.. If he gets in trouble, its his own fault hahah |

Hmm, Izumiya and Sakuraya might have it. |
Uh oh....... the competition, LOL. I go to Sakuraya a lot. Their prices are very good, but I cannot see how the place survives. Hardly anyone there. Every time I go, I'm the only one there or maybe two other people are there. Even though prices are cheaper, they have nowhere near the selection of Fujiya. Nor the okazu, bento and sushi sections. One exception. My favourite Pota Pota rice crackers are $3.80 at Fujiya and $4.30 at Sakuraya. Even worse is Konbiniya at $5.00!!! Favourite all time Japanese store was Shimizu Shoten, when it was still around. Home made manju, ftmfw! The place was like the Uwajimaya of Vancouver. How's that for random thoughts......... |
