I see stuff like that at the "old school" lumber yards as well. Also try Rona, Home Hardware... MAYBE Home Depot although I don't think I've ever noticed anything of that type.

Try this...

Where can I buy this little fellow.
It's from inside a cigarette lighter plug.

Don't wanna buy a dollar store plug and part it out because I know these things are not always the same size.

Make sure you get the right amperage. Should be stamped on the side of the metal part.

I wanted something that could hang over the sink and not sit on the counter. Ended up getting this from Superstore for $18:

Dollar store when I need it quickly, otherwise I'd rather order the Maxell one's from Amazon.

Strictly electrical stores.

godwin 01-02-2014 11:18 PM

Try Eccol on the south side of 1st between Highway 1 overpass and boundary.

Homedepot will carry the type but not at 2Amps.

Walmart and CT are supposedly to be Littel's dealer but I won't trust them. http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/li...-0200001p.html

That's what I like about this thread - the shit you find in here is pretty awesome. Not all, not even most of it, but once in awhile, there's a gem or two in the mix.

I HATE SQUISHY EAR BUDS.
Lost my stock iphone 5 ear buds. Anyone recommend anything better?

Soundy 01-03-2014 10:20 PM

Friend is looking for a replacement for her old in-wall oven... catch is, because it's directly in line with the counters, she needs one that opens to the side, like her old, old, now-dead Frigidaire - everything she's been able to find that opens to the side has been commercial-grade and costs $4k+

Been watching CL and Kijiji but hoping someone might have another suggestion...
